Dripping – surreal neon pink and black painting by Georgie Stokol inspired by fungi and Escher geometry
Dripping – original acrylic painting by Georgie Stokol, framed in matte black Tasmanian oak on a white brick wall, inspired by fungi and psychedelic geometry

DRIPPING - AVAILABLE

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2024, 53 x 63 x 5cm.

“Dripping” marked a turning point in my process – letting go of perfectionism and surrendering to the natural flow of the medium. Inspired by M.C. Escher’s surreal geometry and natural forms like stinkhorn fungi and jellyfish, the painting pulses with tiny organic details. This is one of the most-loved pieces in the series. The original is available, along with limited edition giclée prints.

Melting – original neon pink and black chaos painting by Georgie Stokol
Melting – original acrylic painting by Georgie Stokol, framed in matte black Tasmanian oak on a white brick wall, styled for acid goth interiors

MELTING (aka Chaos) - SOLD

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2025, 38 x 48 x 5cm.

“Melting” began as a rejected piece - a failed heart that turned into an explosion of texture and chaos. I’m obsessed with weird textures and collect them like a magpie - from factories to forests. This piece, painted in neon pink and black, became a crowd favourite at the first Acid Goth gallery show. Though titled “Melting,” I affectionately call it “Chaos.” The original is sold, but commissions in this chaotic texture style are available - if interested please contact me directly.

GLOWING - AVAILABLE

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2025, 48 x 48 x 5cm.

A dripping skull that glows like it’s lit from within. “Glowing” began with an inky abstract form and was sculpted into being through layering and linework. Painted in neon pink and black, it became one of the most requested pieces for prints and tees. The original is still available - if interested please contact me directly.

Bleeding – original surreal painting by Georgie Stokol with dripping hole textures in neon pink and black
Bleeding – original acrylic painting by Georgie Stokol, framed in matte black Tasmanian oak on a white brick wall, styled for unsettling elegance

BLEEDING - SOLD

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2024, 53 x 63 x 5cm.

“Bleeding” challenged me personally – I have mild trypophobia, and each glance at this piece gave me a chill. The painting uses Acid Goth’s signature neon pink and black palette to create a surreal optical illusion. From a distance, the holes seem to drip outward, creating a strong 3D effect. The original has sold, but similar commissions can be arranged, and limited edition prints are available.

Decaying – original neon pink and black psychedelic painting by Georgie Stokol

DECAYING - AVAILABLE

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2025, 38 x 48 x 5cm.

The painting that birthed Acid Goth. “Decaying” set the tone for my visual language - high contrast, psychedelic dreamscapes, and organic ambiguity. Some see lips, some see fungi, others see flamingos or spacecraft. What do you see? Painted in neon pink and black. The original is still available, as are limited edition prints. If interested please contact me directly.

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2025, 38 x 48 x 5cm.

“Hollowing” flowed from me so easily I was almost sad when it finished. Featuring a stylised deer skull rendered in neon pink and black, it was one of the first to sell of the series. The flowing antlers inspired an entire sculpture series. The original is sold, but commissions in this chaotic texture style are available - if interested please contact me directly.

CREEPING - AVAILABLE

Acrylic on canvas, framed in a handmade matte black Tasmanian oak frame, 2024, 53 x 63 x 5cm.

Inspired by my Inca Trail hike in Peru, “Creeping” pays homage to spiders – creatures I love. Using Acid Goth’s signature neon pink and black palette, the furry texture was built through layered paint that gives the work a bold 3D effect. Some gallery visitors thought it was sculpted! The original is still available. Pair with 'Catching' and 'Weaving' for the full Spider Collection.
